Randy Duets...
I always like asking other Randy fans fun questions to answer. Here is one that I would like to know from fans...
What is one of your favorite Randy duet songs?? I know one of my favorite ones is "I Don't Need Another Reason" with Tommy Shane Steiner. I absoutely love the song!! Another one is "Waiting On The Light To Change" with BB King. I love how the song is blended in with a little mixture of the blues with country, and the song is Great!! I also like "Come, See About Me" with Conway Twitty and "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind" with Dolly Parton. There are much, much more duets I loveeeee that he sings with others. Another one is "A Few Ole Country Boys" with George Jones. Now that is a GREAT one!! Absoutely lovee it along with many others. Now it is your turn to share your favorite duets. I will sure enjoy reading your responses. Thank you. =)
Take care

I agree that all ones listed here are really great but I can't let it go without mentioning Randy and Clint Eastwood singing "Smokin' the Hive" - just because you don't usually think of Eastwood singing and it's a fun song.
cappy
Yes, cappy, that one was interesting. One wouldn't think of Clint singing but it proves Randy is so good, he can make anyone sound good (smile).
That's our boy!!!

Hi,
I loved most of the duets on the Heroes & Friends album. I especially loved the lyrics to The Human Race, Do I Ever Cross Your Mind, A few Good Ole Country Boys. I love the performances with those ( Vern Gosdin, Dolly Parton, George Jones) and more including Conway, Tammy. Willie, Roy Rodgers, etc. I did like the I Told You So Duet but I do wish that Randy would have sang more, at least on all the choruses . Oh well.
Sharon
I know she was asking for two, but it is impossible for me to name only two. To be honest I love all the duets on the "Hero's & Friends" Cd.
But of others he has done on other albums /shows of other peoples here are my favorites.
Not on any album but I love "We Ain't Kids Anymore" with Loretta Lynn.
It Aint Nothing New" with Rhonda Vincent. "Here's Hopein" with Roy Rogers "Just A Closer Walk With Thee " with John Anderson. " Baptism" with Kenny Chesney (though I much prefer Randys solo version over all). "She Was Talkin About me"'( sans the babbaloo break) with Kevin Mahogany . "I Don't Need A Reason" with Tommy Shane Stiener
"Friends Like Us" with Beth Nielson Chapman. ""Make It Through" with Linda Davis. "Cold ,Cold Heart"(the ladies name escapes me ..again).
Help Linda.:)
When you start thinking about it Randy has really done a lot of singing with different artists of different musical genres. Dee
Now this one is interesting but to be honest, I did a "no no" and edited mine taking out the duwap de wap or whatever all that was. i leftin the musical instrumental part and now really don't mind even listening to it. I do have to say, it isn't one of my very favorites though but don't mind it as much now..

Dee, the cold Cold heart i have is with Florence Henderson.
I also have another RT/Randy duet not on CDs from the Dolly show wherein Randy and Dolly sang Blue Blue Day. I love that also of course.
Like you said, impposible to name one or two but if you're an RT fan, you can't help but like them.

That lady's name always escapes me for some reason. I can picture her image perfectly in my mind. But darn if I can remember her name.:) Dee
I also love "King of the Road" with Josh Turner.
As always, it is almost hard to pick just one and for fear of just writing a book naming several when you ask for a favorite, i'll limit mine to two.
I definitely love the one I recently posted about, Randy and Rhonda Vincent's "It Ain't Nothing New." If I had to pick one off the "Heroes and Friends" CD, I do believe "We're Strangers Again" by randy and Tammy is one of my very favorites
Oh, did I say only two - let me throw in "Friends Like Us" with randy and Beth-Nielsen Chapman from the Annabelle's Wish CD. Now I'll truly stop.
