Is there any possibility that Randy Travis will come back to AR in 2011? I really enjoyed his concert in Hot Springs this year, and would love it if he'd come back to AR again.
My friend and I went to your first time being at our loverly Indian Ranch. I just love to go there ,dont have money to camp but see a concert now and then . you were so good we enjoyed ourselves so much , Thank you so much for a great end to summer and come back next year. Always a FAN. Bev Jones
I have the Forever and ever Amen shirt, even though I would love to get all of them at some point, every time I go to a Randy Travis concert, my first impulse wants to buy everything Randy Travis. I am a HUGE Randy Travis fan.
I agree. I would buy a visor for sure with Randy written on it. Those hats are not for me. I'm hoping to see an updated version someday. cowwoman60 Denise
DEAR RANDY,
I PERSONALLY WANTED SAY THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT TO MY CITY AND PUT ON AMAZING TALENTED CONCERT IN WINDSOR,ONTARIO CANADA YOU MADE ME CRY SO MUCH THAT I JUST LOVE YOUR SWEET SONGS THEY REALLY TOUCHED MY HEART SO RANDY MY QUESTION TO YOU IS WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK TO MY HOMETOWN AND WHERE I CAN SEE YOU AGAIN AND SEE YOU LIVE AT THE CONCERT I WAS TOTALLY AMAZED YOU ARE MY NO.1 FAN IN HISTORY
I miss Country and Western and Rock and Roll music on the radio and television as i this this types of music is good compared today's kind of music all the singers wants to do theses days is grow there hair long, look scruffy and shout down the microphone, i just hate that, i do not think that they do not appreciate descent music. bring back the good times that was much better to listen too and with great fun with descent lyrics and meanful music you could sing to.
Some of my fondest memories growing up was visiting my grandparents and gathering together in the evenings to watch the Tommy Hunter show or Don Messer's Jubilee. (This is in Canada, I'm not sure if these shows were shown in the U.S.)
The beautiful thing is that the music was appropriate for all ages. It encouraged us children to have an appreciation for music, and led to most of us (including myself) becoming singers and musicians (amateur, mind you.)
Oops! Sorry. I just noticed this thread is supposed to be about shirts. Oh yeah, we all wore shirts while were watching T.V.
Oh no! Just reminded me of a joke. Well, it's about shirts too:
Grandma's sitting in her chair in the living room, doing her needlework, when down the stairs comes flouncing her granddaughter, heading out to meet her friends, dressed in jeans and a thin t-shirt and it's apparent she's not wearing anything else underneath it.
"You can't go out of the house in that shirt," says Grandma.
"Oh Grandma, don't be so old fashioned. I'm just showing off my rosebuds," the girls says as she flounces out of the house.
When the girl comes back home, along with several of her friends, there's grandma, still in her chair, doing her needlepoint, absolutely naked from the waist up.
"GRANDMA!!! Have you lost your mind? What do you think you"re doing?" the girl shrieks.
"Oh, I'm just showing off my hanging baskets," Grandma says.
I bought one of the last jackets in Las Vegas of the 1990 tour when Randy was at Ballys Las Vegas in 1990, it was the last one and they even got it off the board hung up. I wear it still in the winter when I go to his concerts when its cold. He has signed it twice and I love the jacket, I will never get rid of it. It is the best...
Speaking of jackets. I also have the gray satin tour jacket from my first concert of Randy's...that has an outline of the United States with Randy Travis embroidered across the back of it. Underneath it says "Back To Country". I too, love my jacket. Wear it when I attend his concerts. Nor will I part with it, until the Good Lord calls me home. Than I'll have my daughter give it to my granddaugher Riley. As she is the only one of all my grandchildren who loves Randy like I do.
Countrybug.

Last night show in Kettering , Ohio and my wife love it because he saw him about 12 years ago in cin. and we hope that they well come back in Ohio around cin. or dayton, ohio. She would be happy to meet him because she got 38 cd,s of him and doll small bus of him and about 5 cast.
My husband and I were going over our cds and tapes and he noticed (how could he have missed it) how many of Randy's that I have. My tapes have been duplicated by the same cd's when I could. His comment was,"Do you ever think you'll have enough?" No!, If Randy keeps recording, I'll keep buying. I wish he would do a tribute album to Jim Reeves and Eddy Arnold. Those great songs with Randy's great voice would be a multi million $$$$$ seller.
I recently watched a show and they played a song by randy it was called gift of love I was wondering if maybe u can tell me which album it is on

Randy Travis : Forever And Ever, Amen Lyrics
Songwriters: Overstreet, Paul; Schlitz, Donald Alan Jr;
You may think that I'm talkin' foolish
You've heard that I'm wild and I'm free
You may wonder how, I can promise you now
This love that I feel for you always will be
But you're not just time that I'm killin'
I'm no longer one of those guys
As sure as I live, this love that I give
Is gonna be yours until the day that I die
Oh, baby! I'm gonna love you forever, forever and ever, Amen!
As long as old men sit n' talk about the weather
As long as old women sit n' talk about old men
If you wonder how long I'll be faithful
I'll be happy to tell you again
I'm gonna love you forever and ever, forever and ever, Amen!
They say that time takes it's toll on a body
Makes a young girl's brown hair turn gray
But, honey, I don't care, I ain't in love with your hair
And if it all fell out, well, I'd love you anyway
They say time can play tricks on a memory
Make people forget things they knew
Well, it's easy to see, it's happenin' to me
I've already forgotten every woman but you
Oh, darlin'! I'm gonna love you forever, forever and ever, Amen!
As long as old men sit n' talk about the weather
As long as old women sit n' talk about old men
If you wonder how long I'll be faithful
Well, just listen to how this song ends
I'm gonna love you forever and ever, forever and ever, Amen!
I'm gonna love you forever and ever, forever and ever
Forever and ever, forever and ever, Amen!
Always and Forever...an RT Fan

This may have already been posted but I wanted to let everyone know that the two new shirts are now available in the Tour Merchandise section of the store.
The song has always has had a special meaning to my wife, Patricia, and me, because of our age (69(me) & 67(her)) and the length of time we have been married (48 yrs as of June 24th). When she was diagnosed in Dec 2008 with OC, operated on and placed on chemo treatment (with the loss of most hair), the part of the song dealing with hair falling out, suddenly had even more meaning. I would very much like to find her a copy of the words to the song; I would like to frame it and place it on her night stand. Email: AabbeeGalesPlace@GMail.com
Betty, I know what you mean. The only thing i hadn't gotten was the bandana so at least i did manage to find one thing I could use my certificate for and take advantage of the free S&H they offered last weekend in honor of CMT Fest.
I too want the "I Left my heart with Randy travis" shirt but understand that one is truly a hit; they sold out of them in Canada but were to have gotten more back in this past week. I certainly hope they did as I need one badly. I hope to get one soon, perhaps houston or Thackerville.
I also was hoping maybe they'd offer a new Ranch shirt as well for 2009; maybe they still willl.

I have the "Around The Bend T-Shirt", but they are all cool. I like them all. It is very difficult to choose just one, especially when you are at a concert, or ordering one for a special occasion. Like for a gift for someone in your family who is a Randy Travis fan.
is one I bought in Austin in 91. It is sold in the vintage merchandise as a sleep shirt but I wear it as a regular shirt. It's Randy's face and he's gorgeous. I had one woman try to grab the shirt one day at a flea market. I guess she would have done the same to Randy if he was standing there. cowwoman60 denise
Denise, you are one lucky person to have that sleep shirt. I keep waiting for it to become available for sale again because I know I would sleep so much better if I had it. I did ask the the web site team about it and they said they have a lot of requests for it, so it may came back to the RT store. I can only dream... kmacpink
Sure would love to get the sleep shirt and the one that says I left my heart with Randy Travis. I wish his site would put something new for
sale . I can't even use my fan club certificate because I have everything they are showing. Betty
That shirt fit the bill for both of us I guess. You got a dress and I got a plus size shirt. Only 2 more weeks before Winstar concert. Counting the days. Still waiting on my code. cowwoman60 Denise
My new favorite shirt is a brand new one that they just started selling last night at the St Louis Family Church. On the front is a picture of Randy holding a guitar, looking down. He is unshaven in this pic and I love it! On the back is a pic of the guitar and above it, it says Tradition.
It is really nice although I know there are some who do not like the unshaved look. Hopefully they will have it online soon so everyone can enjoy.
By the way, the picture on the front of the tshirt is inside the booklet for the I Told You So: The Ultimate Hits of Randy Travis CD. Really good picture!
Now if they would just make a shirt with the pic from the front of The Inspirational Hits CD I would be a very happy girl.
