AWESOME SHOW!!! I really enjoyed Randy and the Symphony.

It was just one more great night of randy, only this time playing with a fabulous symphony. The symphony played first for about 1/3 of the show and Randy and band joined them folowing a 20-minute intermission.
In my opinion, there was a couple of times Randy's band over-powered the orchestra a little but the show was indeed great. Most of the time you could hear the orchestra and there were some beautiful additions to some of the songs such as a re-enforced violin section and horns in some of the songs which normally would not have had them. You almost have to attend a show like this to get the full effect.

Randy did take a couple of requests from the audience, he only told two of his jokes but following "Forever and Ever, Amen" he returned to the stage to play a few of the older songs he recalled playing as a young youth such as a Hank Senior Medley, a song by merle and a couple others. Randy was fabulous; one couldn't have asked for more.
