I won't be able to make it. I am on the other side of the country, but I will definitely record it and watch it.

As I mentioned before, it appears Randy's opryperformance among others wil be shown on 11/15 according to GAC so evidently they won't be showing it live on GAC this wekend. GAC currently has Opry Live CMA Awards Special listed for this upcoming weekend.

At least they supposedly will be showing it.

You should still be able to tune in to WSM online and listen by way of radio.

I wish I would have know about the coupon before I got my tickets. I think the first show is completely sold out but there are still very good seats for the second one. Only 3 days to go! This will be my first time seeing Randy at the Opry. I can't wait.

Yes, I will be taking pictures. I know that I can during the autograph signing session and at the Opry. If I can I will also take pics during the interview.

I know Sarah went as did Ronda and Twyla and I know from having gone in the past, there is nothing like it. I did tune into WSM Saturday evening online and caught the show.

One thing i thought was interesting was, having been there before, I never saw an artist perform, leave the stage and come back again, even more than once. That must be something they are doing now to keep people from leaving after their favorite artist is done. I always stayed for the entire shows anyway but i hope no one missed Randy by thinking he was finished.

It was great hearing him anyway and it will be interesting to see which portion GAC airs this coming Saturday evening on their Grand Old Opry Live show..

But for some reason the player would constantly sputter. Though we have a high speed connection, I don't think it is the best that is out there But only what this area offers by the company that has this section of the state. At times it isn't much better then dial up. Yet we are paying a lot more for it. I had trouble last night trying to listen to the Eagles game (even though I would have only regretted doing so),since they lost. yeah I know they were on national tv but I prefer our local announcers. So I usually mute the tv and listen on line to our guys.

What did he sing Linda? I too hope they show him performing next week on GAC. No doubt "Dig Two Graves" and one of his many classics.

Does anyone know if the CMA awards on Wednesday are they being held at the Ryman or are they coming out of California? And if Randy will be in attendence? In the networks promotion of them they didn't say, where they were being held nor did they mention anyone other then the acts that are performing and that Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are hosting. Any insight anyone can provide will be appreicated. It will also determine whether I watch them or not. Dee

I can't believe that Randy isn't nominated for any awards for his Around The Bend CD. It is an awesome album. No matter what, I always still look forward to the award shows. I watch them every year. Hopefully the next CMA show, Randy will get a nomination.

Other than their time frame qualifications, which the CD would certainly have met, perhaps it was because there wasn't any single that charted on billboard off of the CD. It is a great CD and had radio gotten behind it more allowing the listeners to have their say, maybe either faith in You and/or Dig Two Graves would have made the charts.
