Randy Travis Plans Visit to Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Randy Travis will visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's Ford Theater on Nov. 7 for a public interview with museum editor Michael Gray. The interview will center around Travis' career and his latest album, Around the Bend, which reunited him with producer Kyle Lehning, who produced his early hits. The program begins at 1 p.m. and is included in museum admission. Following the interview, Travis will sign copies of Around the Bend in the museum's store.

I gonna hopefully try and make this! I also have tickets for the Opry at the Ryman on 11/8 when Randy will be there with JOSH TURNER, Kevin Costner, Jamey Johnson, & Riders in the Sky. I have school Friday, but I think my mom's going to let me skip a day for Randy!

Thanks for posting this. I have checked the Opry schedule several times since it was announced that Randy would be at the Hall of Fame on the 7th. The last time I looked was just a couple of days ago and he wasn't listed yet. I am so glad I saw your posting. I would have been very upset if I had missed seeing Randy at the Opry. We got fairly decent seats considering that it is now just 2 weeks away. I have been to the Opry a couple of times over the years but this is the first time I will see Randy there. I am so excited!
I told Jacob, my 7 yr old, about it last night. Told him that he is finally going to get to see Randy sing in person. He has been begging me for months and months now. He was supposed to go to a concert in September but it didn't happen. Then I told him that he was going to get to see Josh too. He said, "Who's Josh?" I guess I have somewhat neglected my son's education. He knows pretty much every Randy song by heart but hasn't a clue who Josh Turner, or any other country artist, is. So, I turned on the CMT Special for him to watch. He's ready now.

That's cool Ronda! Hope to see you there! I got tickets for the 7 PM show & the 9:30 PM. My seats are in the balcony for the 9:30, but it's the 3rd row so I think it will still be pretty good! Then the 7 PM is in the floor section row Y. As for the Hall of Fame, some friends of mine's son in law works there, so I might can get in free & possibly talk to Randy more! I'm gonna make me 2 T shirts. One for the Hall of Fame with just Randy (and maybe a picture of him & Josh). Then one for the Opry with both of them.
