We at the HBA Steamboat are having the first annual Beef, Beer & Bowl HBA Steamboat & Toys for Tots Fundraiser on November 14th, 2009. That’s’ Bowl, as in Bowling. We hope to have 60 teams and 240 people bowl in 5 hours! We are giving away prizes to the bowlers and are hoping to raise enough money to ensure that all of our 28 boxes & 2 trucks are filled with toys for the kids of Routt & Grand Counties.

We have enlisted the help of the local schools to decorate our boxes to look like homes decorated for Christmas and we hope to give away prizes for the best ones! This is called Boxatexture! Waste Management was been kind enough to donate all of the boxes and help us out.

We have partnered with MainStreet Steamboat and on the night of the Tree Lighting ceremony on the courthouse lawn, the Marines will be there to “pick up the toys”. They have enlisted the help of our members to distribute the toys throughout Routt & Grand Counties.

So now you are wondering why we need you….

We are hoping that you that you can help us with promotional items that we can give away as prizes or sell chances for. We feel that if we have great prizes, that we will get more bowlers, more of a community turnout and we could ensure that all 28 of our boxes are filled with toys for the kids of Routt & Grand Counties.

So without begging, which we are probably doing, please help us out and help the kids from Routt & Grand Counties that will benefit from this.
