What a Wonderful Way to Bring in the Fourth of July

I am so excited about this 4th of July. I have been a long time fan of Randy Travis. I will finally get to see him in concert for the First Time this 4th of July at Frontier City. Finally a 4th that I will remember with wonderful memories.

Thank You, Randy Travis, for bring a concert to Frontier City. My friend Lisa and I will be standing in line with High Hopes of getting Front row tickets and hopefully be able to meet you and get your autograph.

God Bless You,
Sarinah

Seeing Randy

Enjoy your concert today Sarinah, and the holiday. It's Randy so there is no doubt that you will.

I'd imagine Randy will be performing "America Will Always Stand" on this Independance Day holiday. In tribute to our miltary men and woman who have made this holiday possible through out our country's history. So if he does, you will get to see and hear him perform this beautiful patriotic song live.

I've heard him do it in a couple of the shows I've attended . He brings the house down with it. Talk about goose bumps. Not a dry eye in the place .
Come back and give us your impression of the show. Dee

Wasn't it great?!

I stood out there for 2 hours in the pouring rain, freezing and soaked with my nine year old daughter. Only to be told by a fire marshall that the show was cancelled! Nice, huh? Could he not have come out for all his fans that were there and just made a SIMPLE appearance?! Nope. Didn't happen! Thanks Randy!

My Sympathy, Ginger

Ginger, I know it had to be extremely disappointing to get there and have a show canceled but it happens sometimes.

I'm sure they put Randy's safety ahead of all else and personally, as disappointed as i too would have been, I would want nothing more than him to be safe.

I'm sure even considering an electric microphone in stormy weather is of concern. Sometimes even though it may not appear stormy at the show site at the time of show, if there are storms in the area or a possibility of them reocurring, they take all of this into consideration.

But having said that, of course, I do understand your frustration and disappointment. Personally knowing randy as i do, I'm sure also the decisions weren't specifically made by him. These things do happen. Maybe it will be rescheduled in the not so near future. i can't guarantee that of course but i know a couple of years ago a similar situation happened in Wisconsin and it was rescheduled the following year.

Again, you have my sympathy.
