I could hardly believe my ears when i heard the DJ this morning say Randy's song "Dig Two Graves" was coming up.
This station is on line so if you want, yu can listen from time to time and if you don't hear it, atleast then request it. The fact that i did hear it at least tells me they have it.
Let's get them playing it. They were one of the major stations that somewhat took TWC off the bgrounde because not only are they local, they are on the internet and couldn't ignore the requests.
Just letting you know.

That they played it in your area. I decided to give it a shot. I have been boycotting my local stations because I couldn't get them to play Faith in You. (I don't think they noticed that I haven't been listening!) lol. So, this morning I called one of the local stations in Kansas City. The one that says they play both kinds of music, today's best country and all-time favorites. I requested Dig Two Graves and less than an hour later I got my usual response, they played Forever and Ever Amen. Grrrrrr!
Well, didn't expect to hear it quite that soon again but someone, around 6:50 this morning called in and requested Randy Travisand they just played it again. Way to go randy.
Guess i'll be listening today for sure and within time request it myself.

I switched to another country station in KC. I requested the song over an hour and a half ago. So far nothing. As a matter of fact at this very minute they are playing Kid Rock. Very upsetting.
If you have iTunes, they have a whole list of Country stations that cost nothing to listen to. I just heard "Forever and Forever Amen" on Classic Country FM. I haven't heard one from Randy's "Around The Bend" yet, but have high hopes. There are 100's of country stations to choose from.

It is good to know they have such a selection. Unfortunately as i think I've mentioned, for those who are visually impaired using screen readers to navigate the internet have not found Itunes to be accessible for them.
My local station on occasion will play one of theolder ones; my goal of course right now is to try and get them to play DTG on a regular basis.

Yeah, I know what you mean Ronda. 94 sent a birthday e-greeting so I took the opportunity to request from Dale again. Unless you heard it today, they ignored me too.
mainstream country radio never got on board with that song (Faith in You). Such a waste of another great song and perfomance by Randy. Let's hope"Dig Two Graves" does better. Thanks Linda for letting uo know that you did hear "Dig Two Graves" recently on one of your stations in Texasl. Dee
Ronda, that happened to me yesterday morning also when i requested it but fortunately they still played it an hour later and they have been playing it on a fairly regular basis although seems to have dropped back a bit since the weekend. Of course that could be my imagination as i am impatient when i want to hear it.
i just put n another request via e-mail. I know the guy got it as he responded. Didn't make any commitments of the song getting on but at least i did request it. He said he loved the song so hopefully it will get played.
I have made a couple of phone requests but it almost seems that they don't answer their phones anymore unless they have a contest going on. Kind of is the pitts where that is concerned.
I noted unfortunately the song did drop back one spot from #39 to #40 on the Music row chart but maybe if Dallas plays it enough, it will go back up. Keep fingers crossed.

I sent an email to the program director. I asked why they aren't playing any of the new songs, thanked them for at least playing Forever and Ever, Amen but said that I would like to hear the new songs too. I told him that there are a lot of us out here who feel the same. He wrote back, "I understand. We will try to get to the new stuff."

anyone know how "Faith In You" did on the charts?
Just curious, I noticed his album had a very nice debut, but I don't hear any of his new stuff here in Ohio. Thanks
