Randy Probably A Bit Saddened by Patrick Swayze Death
In case you've not yet heard the sad news, Patrick Swayze lost his battle with pancreatic cancer yesterday. Of course as most know, he joined Randy in the film "black Dog."
If you want to read about him and his career, here is a link to an article that also has a link to photos including some of his friends. I don't know if randy was among the photos or not.

We all loved him and we always will. He will never be forgotten.
My love goes to his family and friends.
RIP Patrick Swayze. Your legacy as an actor will be cherished forever. After a long battle with pancreatic cancer, the actor Patrick Swayze has passed away. He was 57 years of age. Patrick Swayze was diagnosed in 2008 with stage 4 cancer, and it metastasized to his liver. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive forms, with less than 5% of patients surviving 5 years, most succumbing within 6 months of diagnosis. Swayze leaves behind an intimidating body of work, including smashing successes in blockbuster films, hit TV shows, and even a few highly regarded indie appearances and stage work. He will certainly be sorely missed, and there will be many paycheck loans worth for tributes to Patrick Swayze.
How very sad to hear of Patrick Swayze's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, family and friends. May they soon find comfort and peace and may he rest in peace, now free from pain. God bless you Patrick and thankyou.
I heard about his passing last night. It is always hard when someone passes, especially when they are big in movies, music, or anything they worked so hard for. I have the movie "Black Dog" that Patrick Swayze and Randy did. It is awesome. I just hope the his family and friends can find peace with his passing.
It was so sad to hear of Patrick's passing, even though expected. I checked MSN daily for news, praying every day that it wouldn't be that day. My favorite of all of his roles was Orry Main in the mini-series North & South. I LOVED that mini-series!
I was just watching the Barbara Walters special and again find myself in tears. What a guy.........! May he rest in peace. My prayers go out to his wife and family.
It is real sad that Patrick Swayze had passed away yesterday. I was online and my mom sent me an instant message telling me that he had passed away. I was speechless. I really did enjoy his films especially "Black Dog" which I also enjoyed because Randy starred as well. On the other hand, it is sad and heartbreaking for most fans of Patrick that he had passed away but he will never be forgotten.

I just went through a montage of Patricks movies (pictures) on AOL's home page and "Black Dog" wasn't among them. I guess it wasn't a big enough movie for them to consider it. Or that Randy wasn't a big enough acting co star to be worthy of mention. At least we fans who have the movie "Black Dog"and Randy's "You And You Alone" album ( where Patrick sang back up) on "I Did My Part" will always have a piece of Patrick to remember the kind handsome man, who shared the screen and his vocals with our beloved Randy.
Patrick Swayze was always one of my favorite actors along with Johnny Depp.
I like most were hoping he would beat that horrible cancer. But being the kind that it was, I didn't hold out to much optimism. He is now in peace and in Our Lords hands. Enjoy your freedom from pain and suffering and your new residence in heaven Patrick. My condolences go out to his family .Dee
My condolences also go out to his family and friends. I should have put that in previously as I too like him and know randy respected him as well..
Dee, the link I posted did fortunately include black Dog so it wasn't completely overlooked everywhere.

If you've not already heard, Patrick (as noted above) lost his battle with pancreatic cancer yesterday.
As I've noted above, there is one article i found that lists several of his films if you're not familiar with his work. They also had a link to some photos; whether Randy was among them or not, I can't say.

In that link Linda they do mention the movie BLack Dog with Randy Travis and Meat Loaf. There are no pictures for any of the movies such as aol had. Just a head shot of Patrick. Dee
