Music City Walk of Fame

This little tidbit was posted on Trace Adkins Fan Site.

Is it on GAC or CMT?

It's on GAC! Also be sure to watch Randy while Little Richard is talking about Trace Adkins! It's hilarious! Another great moment is when Josh Turner recites "Thank That Man", the song he wrote about Randy. Then Randy is like "that will leave you for a loss of words". The whole special is great in my opinion!

THANKS!

Don't forget to watch the Wake of Fame tonight.

TRACE ADKINS TO JOIN MUSIC CITY WALK OF FAME
10/28/08
On November 9, Trace will be inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame. He will be recognized along with others including Martina McBride, Elvis Presley and Randy Travis, representing the immense talent, creativity and diverse musical styles that have made Nashville, Music City. The Ceremony continues to grow and recognize the rich tradition and heritage that only Nashville can claim as its own

Thanks Ronda for finding this nice little tid bit of news. And posting for all to know and enjoy. Seems like Randy has a busy Nov coming up. Could be why he has no concerts scheduled for the entire month of Nov. Dee

Here is just a little bit of info I found about the Walk of Fame which was started in 2006. Congratulations to Randy for being inducted. You deserve it!

The Music City Walk of Fame will feature permanent sidewalk medallions with each honorees name. The inductions will be open to all singers, musicians, songwriters, producers and music industry executives/contributors who have played a significant role in preserving the musical heritage that is Nashville and have contributed to the world through song or other industry collaboration.

Inductees will be announced throughout the year and honored at a special ceremony with the permanent platinum and granite star and guitar plaque. The Music City Walk of Fame will begin at the Hall of Fame Park and proceed down the newly named Music Mile (from Schermerhorn Symphony Center to Music Row on Demonbreun Street).

Thanks Ronda, great news. Here is a link to the official site of the walk of fame. http://nashville.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ/WP&sdn=nashvil...

I saw that on Trace's site yesterday since I'm also a big fan of his. I'm so glad Randy has already been inducted along with Toby Keith. Now whenever Josh Turner gets inducted, all four of my top male singers will be in there.

Isn't the Music City Walk of Fame across from the CM Hall of Fame?? Since I will already be in town for Randy & Josh.

Sara

Yes, I think it goes right by the Hall of Fame.
