randy travis on you tube

I just saw a interview of randy travis talking about his voice not being the same because of an illness he had.....so if you want to see it type Degenerative Disease. He also talks about lyme dies, and you know what randy? I had bells palsy and they say that its kinda like lyme,so im with you!! They do say that you can take antibiotics til you die,but it stays in your system? Im glad randy has the fans and friends to be there for him. Hey linda youre great friends with randy,do yall ever go out to eat with him and his wife Lib? Does he ever invite you to his house and visit Lib and randy? Man,it must be cool?Huh?!Its not that randys getting old its what he had that messes with his voice!

Who is Linda and do you really get to visit Randy at his home and eat with him and his wife? That must be the greatest thing ever. I'd love to know more about your time spent with him and Lib.

I am new here but I am curious and wondering why you keep posting the same message over and over again? Can't you send her a private message somehow and if she wants to tell you anything she will?

Why

Which post are you refering too? I have only posted here once. Since I am also new here may I ask if it is wrong to post something more then once? Wow, I am really surprised I expected this to be a friendlier place.

I didn't mean to come across as unfriendly. Sorry. It's just that I saw your post last night and this morning the exact same post was there but with a different post time on it, and it happened again this afternoon. Maybe there is a glitch in the system. I apologize.

I only asked that question because a friend told me that she hear that someone had been invited to Randy's ranch and I thought that maybe it was Linda. Sorry if I got over excited but I thought that she would have some interesting things to talk about.

Just before Around the Bend was released some radio stations had a contest and the prize was an invite to a listening party and a horseback ride at the ranch. One person did come on here once and say she was one of the winners but really gave no details. I think there are a couple of pics in the gallery of the winners. If I remember right there were 14 in all.

Thank you Ronda I'll bet that is what my friend was talking about.
That must have been fun and exciting. Don't know if I have ever heard of anyone winning an invite to a country stars or any other kind of stars home before.

Thank you . It was very interesting.

We all know that Lyme disease is passed on to humans by Deer ticks but here is more information about when and where it was first discovered.
I have always been told that Lyme disease was first discovered in 1975 in Old Lyme CT which is only 45 minutes from where I live. Everyone around here has either had Lyme or they know someone who has it.
Here is one article where it says it was discovered in Lyme CT.

What is Lyme Disease?Lyme disease was first discovered in 1975 after a mysterious outbreak of arthritis in children who lived near Lyme, Connecticut. Lyme disease is an infectious disease (a disease caused by an outside agent) that affects the skin first, then the joints, the nervous system and, if untreated, eventually other organs.
But after researching it some I found another article that claims that Lyme dates back to 1883.

It is a popular misconception that Lyme disease was discovered in the late 1970's in Lyme, Connecticut. However, medical literature is actually rich with more than a century of writing about the condition, although most of it has been published only in Europe. The first record of a condition associated with Lyme disease dates back to 1883 in Breslau, Germany, where a physician named Alfred Buchwald described a degenerative skin disorder now known as acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans (ACA).

Thank you for this information. I watched the You Tube video. I guess that explains why Randy hands out information on Lyme disease at his concerts. Randy has overcome so much in his life to get where he is today. He has really been blessed. Again, thanks. Mary
