You And You Alone....
Howdy everyone. Few weeks ago, I got the "You and You Alone" album by Randy and I love it!! And trust me when I say this...the MOMENT I listened to the song "Satisfied Mind" Wow!! I mean I loved it!!!! I can never get enough of that song!! GREAT SONG!! GREAT ALBUM!! Especially my favorite "Horse Called Music" I have heard Willie Nelson's version of "Horse Called Music" but I tend to like Randy's much better because I consider the tone of being more snoothing and relaxing and I just love it. Thanks for taking your time in reading my Blog :)

That is a great album. Jasmin. You need to get his Randy Travis Live: It's Just a Matter of Time DVD next. He sings "Horse Called Music" on it. It is just him and his quitar. It will give you chills. You'll get an all new
perspective of hearing and watching him perform that song.
I also liked"Satisfied Mind". "Spirit Of A Boy, Wisdome Of A Man" among others.
"Out Of My Bones" and "The Hole' and "Spirit Of A Boy, Wisdome Of A Man" ' had really cool videos to them. It's just a shame that they and the one he did for "A Man Aint Made Of Stone" aren't included here on his video page. But I understand why they aren't.Being on a different label.
Maybe you can search You Tube to see if they are on there.
I too, have Willie Nelsons album titled "A Horse Called Music".
I agree that Randy's version is a lot smoother. But ( I think) the depth of the interpretation that Randy gave it, is really what makes it stand out. That song always gets a really great response when he sings it in concert. And in concert it is just him and the guitar. Just as it is on the DVD. It's definitely a fan favorite .

When I saw Randy live in concert (May 2009), Randy performed "A Horse Called Music" and it was just him and his guitar. So I know the feelings of having the chills (Lol) I have also heard Willie Nelson's version of the song as well. But when I saw Randy live, and he performed it, my eyes were fully focused on him (Lol) He did an AMAZING sing on it :)
I do not have the DVD, but I have the Audio CD of Randy Travis Live: It's Just A Matter Of Time" I do need to get the DVD though, (Lol) Thanks for sharing my friend...also do not know if you seen some of the concert photos I posted but its on my profile here on the website..so you can check them out if you'd like :)
