Randy Travis fans are the greatest! I have been gone on an eight day vacation and am doing just fine. Thanks for the concern. Yes, I live in California but am about a couple of hours away from the bad mtn. fires above L.A. We have been in a lot of smoke (which chokes my wife with her asthma) but we are safe. I had to go for a week or so to visit my boyhood hometown - Oceanside / Carlsbad, Calif. We love it down there. But back home now - and you made me feel like someone special asking all about what happened to me. Thanks.

Speaking of the book, has anyone heard from DRGivens; he has not posted in a few days. Hoping he is okay.
Dee also has not posted but i think she is visiting grandkids if I remember correctly. I believe that is what she had told me.

Linda, I have not heard from Dr. Givens either in a bit. I sent him a message when I first placed the order for the book and I Have not heard anything. And I do pray he is alright. I want to tell him how the beginning of the book is coming along because I am loving it. I am addicted to reading it. I can't wait to go further in the book. But I hope he is doing ok.

Yes, I believe he lives in California because it said he lives there on the back of his book Storms Of Life and all this week I have been reading about the California Fires. I do pray he is alright and my friend as well who also lives up there. I pray for Dr. Givens and his family and pray they are all right. Same goes with my friend.
Linda, I agree. I can't imaging losing everything either and those who have, I feel real sorry for them and its sad to see everything go. It hurts. But I pray everyone is safe. I just heard from my friend today which the fires went pass her town. I was so happy to hear from her which I knew she was ok. She told me no damage on her home but the some of her town is covered in ashes. I pray for everyone in California and hope they are safe.

Yes, I hope that is not a factor and that he is just taking a vacation of sorts or something.
I pray for all of those mpacted by the large fire in California. I can't even begin to imagine losing everything as some of them have.
