Small question...
This question is not about Randy but I just started loving country music back in 2006 and still learn a lot about it everyday that passes by and discover great country legends since I love the classics in country music. Ok this is my small question...
Was George Jones and Tammy Wynette ever married? After hearing the song "Golden Ring" I always wondered if they were married. Were they? I would like to know. Thank you.

Just FYI, the first Randy show I ever attended had Tammy Wynette, the Judds and Randy. Tammy was an excellent performer but liked to tease the young women on how she just loved Randy, spent time on his bus, had dinner with him, etc. and then pointed out she was old enough to be his mama. She truly was a first class lady.

Virginia Wynette Pugh (Tammy) was born May 5, 1942. Randy Travis thought highly of her and so did many others.
Oh then she would be about the same age as Lib.

By the way, the photo of Georgette Jones (George and Tammy Wynette's daughter) is the first photo (currently) under "Exclusive Photos" for Randy's Ranchers. Georgette is a very good singer.

They were married in 1969 and divorced around 1975 I believe.
