"The Gift"
As most of you know already, I am from New Jersey and it isn't easy finding previous albums of Randy Travis here in NJ. Last month, I ordered his "Rise and Shine" album and let me tell you, I absoutely loved it!! Each song carries such an incredible inspirational message and the moment you hear the songs, it touches the heart.
Now, as I was listening and enjoying the album very much, I reach to the song "The Gift". The moment it started playing, it felt like I was in such wonderful, inspirational feeling. The song itself is simply wonderful. I absoutely loveeeee how Randy used the line "He had the birthday we got the gifts" Everytime I hear that line in the song, it touches my heart. Christmas isn't just about presents, it is a time to gather with the family and be happy and celebrate the birthday of Jesus Chirst. To me, "The Gift" is one of the BEST from Randy's album "Rise and Shine" following the rest of the album which is absoutely GREAT!! Randy Travis will forever be the BEST of the BEST in "True" country music.

I have also listen to the song The Gift, and since it is already -ber months, that means Christmas is only around the corner. I also like that lyric. It shows how truly Jesus really loved us. He was born on that day but He shares it to the world. He is not selfish. He even gave his life so that we will be saved from our sins. So we should be grateful for coming inn this world. We should celebrate it with kind heart and share it to the rest of the world. No amount of instant money can replace the happiness I felt whenever I remember that Christmas is just around the corner.

You're right,it is a beautiful song. In fact not only do i have the MP3 filed with the album, I also have it filed with my RT Christmas songs so when i play those, it plays along with all the others.
