Songs we wish he'd record

Years ago we mentioned that RAndy would be the perfect person to sing Jim Reeves, Eddy Arnold, and George Morgan love songs. Since his voice has only gotten better with age, this woul be a great time to sing some greats by these Country Crooners by Today's Real Country Crooner. I would love to hear these loving old songs sung by that great baratone. Am I the only one out here that remembers???? I'm not THAT old, Honest!!

Not alone,

I too would love to hear him do some of those old classics by those artists. Lindaruth.. He had mentioned maybe doing an album like that at one time. I guess he either forgot or just gave up the idea. He had mentioned one time too, of maybe putting an album together of the songs he has recorded/written for the different movies he had been involved in. That too, would be cool to have in our Randy collection. Dee.

Not Alone - These and Others

I'd just love for Randy to do these and some other old country classics by Merle, Hank Sr., Lefty, Conway and a few others.

Would just love to hear him say "Hello Darlin'.

No, you're not alone.

Hello Darlin'

Oh, my. Yes, that would be wonderful.

I agree

I'd love for Randy to do a album of songs from movies that he has done, two really good one that i really like are, Rope the Wind off the Frank and Jessie Western. the other is Long Road Home, from Long Ride Home western.

I Recall

littlematt, I recall there was some talk of that supposedly going to be put out by Relentless some time back - some of the movie songs andsome new ones but it never seemed to come to pass. It came down for me to making my own CD of such songs.

I love the ones you mentioned and My Greatest Fear from Black Dog was another favorite of mine. of course when it comes down to it, i love them all.

More I like

I also love the songs he wrote. for the movie "Boy's Will Be Boy's"' and "Baby Geniuses". "The Heart To Climb A Mountain" ( for one of the Olympics). "The Nature Of Things". "Paradise" he did for "Fire Down Below " "Nowhere Man" for the John Lennon tribute he was a part of . He is doing that in concert now I hear. Awesome delivery by Randy of that song. I've played it so much, that it has gotten a few scratches. So it skips a bit on a couple of the songs. But I still enjoy listening to the ones that don't skip.

Thanks to my good friend Linda (W), she made me a copy of these that I mentioned he did for some of the movies and TV shows. Dee

New ideas, old songs

There are so many quality songs out there and all they "sing???" these days appear to be one hit wonders. I listen to Classic Country on dvr and I don't even listen to the radio anymore because of all the "songs?" that are out there. Just listening to these great treasures and visioning Randy singing them, is and would be great!!!! He has at least 4 albums out there that he could do and his fans, old and new would snatch them up and have radio play them. Then Maybe I could tune my radio in again to country and not think I have a rock station on my mistake. I just play my Randy cd's when I play. God's Love Lindaruth
