I wonder if and how much damage Randy's Nashville office got from the floods in that area?
As of now the Music Fest is still expected to go on.
CMA Music Festival will go on as scheduled in our planned venues. As the flood waters recede this week, the cleanup will begin so that Nashville will be ready, willing and eager to host Country Music's most loyal legion of fans for the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience, June 10-13.

Playlist: 12 Country Songs For Mother’s Day
Sunday, May 10th is the day that we take time out to pay tribute to that very special woman in our life, Mom. Country artists have always had a knack for writing and recording songs that deal with the impact a mother can make on their lives. Some of these songs definitely pull at the heartstrings a bit, but these dozen songs of the best illustrate how the bond between mother and child can extend for a lifetime.
1. Hank Williams – “I Dreamed About Mama Last Night” (1951)

Randy is mentioned in the new Country Weekly magazine which will be on newstands April 19th.
Sticking With Tradition
Young stars like Luke Bryan, Joe Nichols, Josh Turner and others are keeping the flames of hard-core country burning brightly. These new traditionalists talk about where their styles came from and how they see the future of country music. Joe credits his influences, such as Randy Travis and George Strait, for his sound.

I just found out that me and Joe Diffie were born on exactly the same day. I also share the day with Denzel Washington and David Archuleta from American Idol.

KEARNEY—One of country music’s brightest stars will be the featured performer at the 2010 Cattlemen’s Ball this summer in Kearney.
Award-winning artist Randy Travis will sing at June 4-5 event at the Norris and Lori Marshall acreage south of Kearney.
Travis is one of country music’s most acclaimed stars with record sales exceeding $25 million and 22 No. 1 hits and six No. 1 albums.
He has earned six Grammy awards, seven Dove awards, six Country Music Association awards, 10 American Music Awards, nine Academy of Country Music awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

You can't see Randy on this video (well at least I didn't notice him) but you can see Lib in the background about 3/4 of the way through when Jake Owen is talking.
