My son has chosen the song Forever and Ever Amen for his wedding song to dance with his fiance for their first dance. I am SO happy that he chose this. It means the world to me. His grandfather grew up right down the road from Randy Traywicks family home town in a little town called New Salem. My dad went on to be very successful in both the magazine and record business in Charlotte,NC.MY dad was forever reminding people who never heard of the town of Marshville just who came from there...Randy Travis. It just goes to show that you don't have to be from a big town to be to have BIG dreams and be a BIG success! That is what this beautiful country of the United States gives each and everyone of us....opportunity!!!
