Hi
Made it home from our wonderful four days at Smith Mt Lake. It was so pretty and relaxing!!
Well until Sunday morning when an intoxicated person tried to kick in our front door to our cabin thinking it was his. This was at 12:45 am. A real attention getter at the very quiet hour. Needless to say he was lucky he did not get in. He would have had a major problem on his hands.
Any how he got to talk with the local sheriff, seems he did the same thing to another cabin. Crazy people when they get to drinking!
Hope everyone is going well, have not talk to Linda since I have been home but will talk to her tonight got an update.
Hope this finds everyone doing well!
Take care!

While we all move forward speaking of our favorite teams, I am not sure if all have heard about the Ucon Huskies recently losing one of their players, Jasper Howard, due to a stabbing early Sunday morning.
I know this is off topic but if anyone does wish to post their condolences on that school's site, go to:

I read that today and it was very sad! What a terrible thing!
Yes, I did hear about that sad incident Linda. And my heart and prayers go out to his team mates, his alumni, and especially to his loved ones.
May the wisdom of Our Lords promises to turn their tears into joy be a comfort to them in this time of loss and grief for those who will miss him dearly. Family and friends alike.
hugs, dee
I am also big on sports. My absolute favorite is Football. I have a few teams that I like to watch.

2.) San Diego Chargers (Pro)
3.) Tennessee Titans (Pro)
4.) Wisconsin Badgers (College)
Baseball
1.) Milwaukee Brewers (Pro)
2.) Seattle Mariners (Pro)
Basketball
1.) Seattle Super Sonics (When they were still here.) (Pro)
2.) Wisconsin Badgers (College
Glad you made it home safe and that you had an enjoyable relaxing weekend. With the exception of the intoxicated man who tried kicking your cabin door in. I'm sure that was quite scary.
I, like Linda, am also an avid sports fan. I use to go to stock car races when I was young and was staying briefly with my aunt and uncle who also was into racing...watching not participating.
My favorite teams are The Eagles and the Phillies. Since I am originally from NJ. So grew up being a fan of those teams.
That is indeed a very worthy cause. I wish I could participate in those kind of activities. But I have trouble with arthritis in my hips, and bursitis in my thighs . That prevents me from walking or standing for great lengths of times. But I try to donate monatarily when I can, for such causes.
How is Linda doing? In your post you said you expected to be able to talk to her now that you were back home. I hope she is doing well. Give her our love.
hugs, Dee
dianna, glad you had a nice weekend and a safe arrival back home.
i hope everyone had a good weekend.
I just played a few computer games, watched football and of course listened to Randy off and on.
It was a beautiful weekend here weather-wise for a change.

Dianna, to anser your question, living in the Dallas area, the teams i follow are of course the Dallas cowboys and the Texas Longhorns out of UT/Austin.
I'm not much into nascar but i also do enjoy basketball following our Dallas Mavericks (the pro team) and of course again the Longhorns college basketball team.
Baseball is okay to pass the time but out of the three, probably my least favorite.
