Meat Loaf better hide, before he meets the same fate he did in 1998's 'Black Dog'....hahahaha :-)

Hello everyone, and Happy Easter. Digging Up Bones - Vol. 1

When you think of the legend of country music and deep baritone voices, one man will stand above the rest. This man is Randy Travis. For years, his singles, albums, and live performances have made headlines and met with exceptionally positive reviews. I figure that since this website has just been updated with the prime necessities for a Randy fan, such as exclusive music, a fan community, videos, and other features, that a weekly blog should be dedicated to the man and his talent as well.

The Greatest Singer of Them All

Being 22 years old, I have grown up surrounded by the many hits of Randy Travis. My mother became a fan, exposing the music to me as a child and I even realized then that this was the best country music I would ever here. The voice, the choruses, and the lyrics make songs like 'Forever and Ever Amen' and even the lesser known ones like 'My Greatest Fear', unforgettable. I had the great opportunity of going to see Randy perform at the Durham Fair in CT a few years back on the Passing Through tour. It was an incredible show and you could feel the emotion in the air.
