Randy Travis was a member of Dr Givens' local church on the island of Maui and Randy & Elizabeth have been friends with Don and his wife a long time (since early 1990s). Randy gave Don his personal permission to use the title of his first multi-platinum album, he read the pre-publication copy of the book and he graciously wrote the Foreword to the book.
