I am thankful for my family and my loved ones.
I am thankful for my wife saving my life after my heart attack.
I am thankful for the storms of life that have taught me many valuable lessons.
I am thankful to all genuine Randy Travis fans for putting the spotlight on country music's greatest singer.
I am thankful to all the people who have read my book and been helped by it.
I am thankful for the Randy Travis fans who show sterling character and are full of love and good deeds.
I am thankful for the Randy Travis fans who come on here to commend rather than condemn, to encourage rather than belittle and who are courteous rather than insulting.
I am thankful for the RandyTravisTeam and all the good efforts they put forth in giving us this forum. And I am thankful that they close out the discussions that get into inappropriate language and comments.
Most of all, I am thankful to the good Lord for blessing us with all good things.
Someday, when the storms of life are past, we will wake up in the perfect weather of the sunshine of God's love.
Lord, give us eyes to see You, ears to hear You, and a heart to love You

May all Randy Travis fans have a very happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving. There is much to be thankful for. One grumpy old grandpa was asked by his grandson, "Poppa, aren't you thankful for anything?" Grumpy Poppa replied: "Nothing." The wise grandson said, "Well, at least today you ought to be thankful you're not a turkey!"

Thank you dr givens for those true blessings that we have come to share regarding Randy, Elizabeth and all the like minded fans. Who have gathered here to share their experiences of being fans . And to become friends, as well as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Without a doubt we all have many personal things to be thankful for.
I'm thankful that I have been blessed with a loving family, a life with a healthy body, mind and spirit.
But most of all I am thankful for the sacrafice of our Lord and Savior on the cross. Who has suffered and atoned for my sins. For without his absolusions and forgiving grace, I would endure an after life of intolerable suffering.
May everyone have a happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving .

And I am both thankful for this site and all of you who are here before me. I'm hopeful I will be accepted into your group as I only have positive things to say about Randy Travis and great respect and admiration for his talent; and for his kindness toward my tiny tot niece and nephew and their mom at a small roadside store/cafe in Norwood Missouri several years back. They were huge fans of Randy's, and he was so gentle and kind with them. You see, Randy sings country, and country is all my family knows and wants. Thank you for allowing me time to say hello and tell a bit about why I want to join in. Thanks to you all.

another Randy fan come join in the fun we have here. There isn't a fan here who doesn't feel the same way you do about him. I've had the good fortune of having met Randy in person as well. I found him to be every thing you said of him. The kindness he shows, the patience he has (with fans) the genunie interest he takes in who you are (when meeting him) is a rareity among the rich and famous . I always found it amazing how his celebrity status never went to his head. Like it does so many in the entertainment world these days.
Besides being one of the TRUEST and PUREST country singers of all time. He is by far one of the most appreciative ,gracious and humble successful artists I've ever met. I've met many.
So glad to have you join us, here. Come back often.

Yes, we love saying positive things about country music's greatest singer - because there are so many wonderful things to say! (I have been fortunate enough to know Randy & Elizabeth personally for 19 years now, having been their church Minister on the island of Maui). And Randy wrote the Foreword to my 4th book - "Storms of Life".
