The deluxe edition of Around the Bend came with a plastic fan club membership card. It contained the access code to get the 6 month free membership to the fan club.

So those of us who paid for a membership don't get a membership card?
Don't think I like that.

devoregirl, the card that came with the Deluxe edition, i do not believe was meant to be a fan club membership card; it was meant only to provide free access to the online portion of the fan club for six months. The only thing it provided was a code to join for free for six months but as previously explained via the Team's blogs is that it did not allow for such things as any off-line perks, the free certificate code for a free item in the gift area, etc. I actually gave mine away once i got it since it might mean someone els4 could join and explore the site.

I do wish they had issued a fan club card signifying membership for paying members but i don't think anyone has gotten that. I guess they are trying to save money whever they can.
