GERMANY!!!
RANDY, I have been a fan of yours for as long as I can remember. I was stationed in FRANKFURT, GERMANY from 1984 to1988. You had a tour in GERMANY during that time period. I went to see you. Your concert was awesome. I still have the clipping from the GERMAN newspaper. When I heard your voice for the first time, you stole my heart away. The first time that I saw you was on the european tv. I can tell that you sing from your heart. You have touched my life through your songs. You have been such a blessing to me as I am sure that you have been to so many other people. May GOD truly bless you for the work that you are doing for him, through touching peoples lives through your songs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. A friend always

As the others have said, I too, enjoyed reading your blog. I was wondering if it was a USO tour concert that you saw Randy perform .You mentioned having spent time in the Air Force. So it just made me wonder if that had been the time you saw him . You are absolutely correct in that he has in deed touched many hearts and has blessed many all over the world with his great voice. His down home sincerity, boyish charm and that mega-watt smile. I never tire of hearing Randy sing. Or see him perform live or in acting roles. Welcome to his official site and hope you join us often. Always love hearing from others from all over who also love Randys music.
hugs, Dee
barbie09, you're absolutely correct, many of us love Randy as you do and you've come to the right place to enjoy him. I think it is cool that you still have the newspaper clipping with regard to the concert you saw.
Again, welcome.

You know when Randy Travis came to my state of New Jersey to perform on Mother's Day this year, one of the workers who I work with, told me to check out the newspaper. When I did, there was an image of Randy's face and it said "Come celebrate Mother's Day with Randy Travis" It brought a large smile to my face (Lol) It wasn't till a week later my mom called me and told me "You are going to see Randy" I cried tears of joy!! Seeing him in concert was amazing!! I cheered like never before and forever I will remember that night. I also have the newspaper clipping as well. You and I both have one (Lol) Had a good time reading your Blog. =)
Take care
